Description

Returns the tangent of the specified angle.

Parameters

expression

Any valid numeric expression.

Return Value

Returns the trigonometric tangent of number.

Remarks

1° = pi / 180 radians.

Example

$param = 45.0;
$result = Tan ($param*@PI/180.0);
MsgBox("The tangent of $param degrees is $result.");
