Trim( <expression>, <chars> )

Description

Removes whitespace from the beginning and end of a string.

Parameters

expression

The string to use.

chars

Optional; A string containing chars to be removed.

Return Value

Success: Returns trimmed string.

Failure: Returns old string.

Remarks

None.

$str = "          The quick brown fox              ";
MsgBox(  "'"   .   Trim($str)    .    "'"    );
